I was just listening to Lionel Richie - Stuck On You

I just sent Harry Knowles an email concerning this because I haven’t read anything about it…ever. London Times is running an article about how much Cannes has sucked this year and then they mention at the end that Tim Burton is going to do another Charlie and The Chocolate Factory adaptation. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I know the Dahl family must be excited because word had it the Roald hated the 1971 film - that and they’ll probably get a lot of cash too. Normally, I would be very excited about it but I lost some of my admiration for Burton after Planet of The Apes. I just hope he’ll be able to hold his own against the Hollywood suits and make it sick and twisted like I know he wants to do it.

In a distraction for the paper I need to finish this evening, I finished a little project for the blog. This new feature gives a live report of what song is playing on my computer, as well as the last 15 songs I was listening to. Although it’s probably overkill with the “I was just listening to” on all of my blog entries, I just wanted to see how it works and if I could implement it on ye ol’ blog. Kinda nifty.
