That’s The Last Time I Skip My African History Class…

Sometimes, I like to do a little research on my prof’s at school. A bit of a background check, not just to look at credentials but also to understand why it is they’re teaching.

I’m really disgusted with school this semester. To say that I’m undermotivated is an understatement. However, I got a spark when I did some background research on my African History prof, Prexy Nesbitt.

First of all, anyone who results in 10+ pages of consistent hits from a Google search must be significant.

That, and when he very subtly mentioned today in class that he enjoys spending time with Nelson Mandela… I guess my prof is pretty well respected, not only in that part of the world but here as well. Interesting that he also said he was surprised to hear Mr. Mandela, the most tolerant man he knows, say that the United States has pretty “mediocre leadership” right now…

I think that’s Nelson Mandela speak for “that cracker’s gotta go”.

And I agree.

I was just listening to Portishead - Elysium
