On my last trip to Chicago, I noticed the logo for the city’s bid at a 2016 Summer Olympics US candidate city.

Fig 1. The official Chicago 2016 Summer Olympic Committee logo.
The logo was designed by VSA Partners. I like it. A lot.
I understand that the likelihood of the United States getting the Olympics in 2016 is very high and that the only other city in real competition with Chicago is Los Angeles. I’m sure the fact that LA hosted in 1984 is both an asset and drawback for them.
The USOC will make their decision on April 14. Good luck, Chicago.
