JFK > BHO

Today, the leading authorities on the Kennedy family – the Kennedy family – endorse Barack Obama and compare him to JFK. Also, in the department of uncanny timing, is a story in the Guardian about another link Obama has to JFK.

JFK, while a US Senator from Massachusetts, funded a program using a grant from his family for Kenya to send Kenyan students to US colleges. Apparently, this was common practice for the United States and developing countries during the Cold War against the Soviet Union. And as fate would have it, one of the first students sent over was Barack Obama, Sr. who would marry a white Kansas girl named Ann Dunham while at University of Hawaii.

It’s like, prophecy, man. What is not to like about this guy? Seriously, people. Obama 08. Or, Barry 08 if that sounds better to you.

Well Done, Sesame Workshop

I didn’t realize they changed their name from Children’s Television Workshop. In any case, Grover can tell you all about the Sesame Street embedded videos.

Heath Ledger

Tragic. Stupid. He may have danced with the devil in the pale moonlight.

Normally I would never admit this, but I actually enjoyed A Knight’s Tale.
