Jacob Is Christian Shepard, Jack’s Father

Or so we’re made to think. Admittedly, I came across this spoiler on NYMag’s Vulture blog yesterday but how could I have avoided it? It was work related!

This marks the first time I’ve watched Lost in HD at home. It’s a wonderful thing, that HD, especially when it comes to Lost which loves to employ easter eggs that can only be seen in high definition. See this screen cap.

Better yet, watch the final Lost “mobisode” titled So It Begins.

I’m so glad Lost is back on but it’s like a dating someone you know is only going to be in the country for a couple months. Only 7 more episodes for this shortened season. Damn you, AMPTP.

Speaking of the writer’s strike, Vulture did an interview with Micheal Emerson and one of the questions I submitted to our editorial team was used:

What would Ben Linus offer in terms of advice to the producers and writers with regards to manipulating the other side in negotiating the strike?

Well, Ben Linus would say, “Get to know them as well as you can. Get to know their agenda. Think like them. Find their weaknesses, and then apply pressure.”

That sounds like solid advice for so many things in life. I actually volunteered to do the Q&A myself but they correctly assumed that I would use the phrase “awesomely creepy” too many times.

I was just listening to Toots and The Maytals - If You Act This Way
