Still Riding the Barrytrain

Although I’m disappointed in New York City and specifically Brooklyn for not giving Barack Obama any majorities, I am pleased with his progress across the country. Up until about three weeks ago, it was assumed HRC would be crowned the winner tonight. In fact, it’s widely known her entire campaign strategy had been designed around that presumption.

But the beat goes on.

The exit polling suggests that Barry’s weakness is with Latino voters. I don’t know or understand why he is missing out on these voters but I trust his campaign will learn from these mistakes and adjust before the primary in Texas on March 4. It’s looking like Texas and Ohio could be the king makers.

Regardless of the outcome, I thought Obama volunteers did a great job here in the city. And in my neighborhood, the always charming Loisaida, I did see at least one sign of guerrilla warfare.  Maybe Barry didn’t do as well in New York because everyone was looking for Borakk on the ballot.

Guerilla Warfare for Obama in the Loisaida
