Every year, over 20,000 health-care and technology professionals attend the HIMSS Annual Conference. The website, HIMSS06.org, supports a heavy load of marketing activities, attendee registration, educational session scheduling and support for media and exhibitors. Based on HIMSS’ recent “architects of change” brand, photographs of the San Diego convention center were used for the site’s imagery. The rest of the interface features clean, white backgrounds and text - hoping that the enormous wealth of information is easy to find.
